Thompson, L.G., T. Yao, M.E. Davis, E. Mosley-Thompson, P.N. Lin, T.A. Mashiotta, V.N. Mikhalenko and V.S. Zagordonov. 2006. Holocene climate variability archived in the Puruogangri ice cape from the central Tibetan Plateau. Annals of Glaciology, 43, 61-69.

In this paper, Fig. 8 exhibits O-18 variations of different Tibetan ice cores. Would you digitalize them? It is very interesting to discuss sth of all the curves.

The file also contains the local temperature values.

Also, here’s a graph of the ‘ˆ’€šO18 values vs. the local temperature.

As you can see, the local temp has dropped over the period. However, Yang says that the signal is not from the local area, but represents the temperature of the ocean where the water is coming from. I haven’t checked that yet.
