I’m going to be overseas in Thailand for two weeks visiting my son and my attendance at CA will be spotty. I’ve been a bit spotty as well the last few days both getting ready for the trip and because I was in the Ontario Doubles squash tournament – tournaments are very tiring if you’re past a certain age. They’re much more tiring than regular games because you’re keyed up. (Brian Murray and I won the 60+ category. Another M&M.)

have a great time Steve and enjoy the Thai cuisine
Re: windansea (Jan 18 10:16),
Seconded, but take care with those curries; the International Panel for Curry Catastrophism advises that they’re getting hotter every year.
I live in Mexico but the hottest peppers I have ever eaten were in Thailand
“the International Panel for Curry Catastrophism advises that they’re getting hotter every year.”
and more powerful and frequent “bouts” as well.
Bon voyage.
Go for it, Mr. McIntyre!
We’ll be here when you get back!
Thailand? Appropriate now that Curry has reviewd Lindzen & Choi…
I live in Thailand. If I see you around I’ll buy you a beer!

Ask your son what it means when you’re in LOS (Land of Smiles) and no, it’s not rude.
I said something similar to that late last Saturday night.
Two weeks of warmth – some people have all the luck. I would not spend a second at the computer!
Hi Steve,
I live have lived in BKK for the past 6 years, so if you need any info, please feel free to email.
Tom
PS Keep up the good work.
Have fun, and don’t miss the temples in Bangkok, the only place I have ever seen a demon chicken. No, really.
I guess it’s time to post this link again: Chess: One Night in Bangkok!
congratulations to you & Brian

Congratulations on the new M&M WIN!!
Congrats on the squash, have a good time in Thai where some of those pretty girls are male. Why did you not go a bit further to Oz where blokes are blokes? Geoff.
Based on recent Australian government activities, he might be banned in Australia by now.
Sorry, I am not positive what you mean. Do you say this because he is “The Squash Man” or are there lots of ALGORE deciples in their government? (I expect that is what you mean – can you shoot me some urls to some of the latest Australian government actions to “combat AGW”, please? – thanks in advance.)
Enjoy your trip, Steve!
You’ve done a lot of work since the CRU email leak. You deserve some time off.
Travel safely Steve. We’ll try to get along for awhile without you. Thank you for all you’ve done, and all you do. Warmest regards
Steve, I’m in Thailand from 20th January, if I see you I would be delighted to buy you a drink, or a meal for that matter.
Best wishes on the travel – I hope you come back refreshed and ready to go at’em!
Cheers.
Unfortunately I had to postpone my trip. Nothing to worry about. Just timing issues.
Best wishes on your travel!
